Elena Corchero is an awarded entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in R&D of Emerging Technologies, building prototypes and creating immersive installations to inspire and showcase the future in a wide variety of industries. Managing projects and Bringing together the brands, engineers, startups and academics necessary to deliver such cross-disciplinary concepts. She started as a Researcher at MIT Media Lab, and has worked on both hardware and service design from wearables, biometrics and haptics, to VR, remote surgery robotics, IoT, 5G and most recently the future of media, publishing and Real Estate as Director of Emerging Tech at News Corp.

Elena is the Founder & CEO of Room One – a Design & Technology Lab merging AI, IoT, VR under one room to explore what it means to be human. She has worked on  projects with Ericsson, Unilever, Tate Modern and more. As the founder and director of Lost Values Elena has developed unique problem solving tools and workshops that focus on strengthening the emotional value and bond we experience with the products we consume and the people we share moments with.

Ed Macosky is the Senior Vice President, Product, UX and Solutions at Boomi, a Dell Technologies business. He has more than 15 years of experience building high performing agile teams, designing and launching new software and service products, solution delivery and customer retention. Macosky works to establish and execute Boomi’s product vision and roadmap – delivering an intelligent, flexible and scalable integration platform that accelerates business outcomes by making information, interactions and innovations flow faster.

Prior to joining Boomi in early 2019, Macosky spent almost five years at Oracle, where he served as Vice President of Middleware/PaaS DevOps & Release Engineering. Prior to Oracle, he spent some time at Dell. In addition, starting in 2003, Macosky spent more than seven years at Boomi during the formative years of the company. Macosky studied Information Technology at Penn State and holds two U.S. patents for integrating software systems.

Jibran heads up Capco’s Digital Lab and is one of their Digital leads in the UK.

He has designed and delivered large-scale digital and technology change programmes from architecture design for global banks through to designing and launching new challenger banks. Jibran has a proven track record for implementing innovative technologies with pragmatic solution designs and FinTech integration, incorporating modern ways of working and a focus on setting up capabilities in new technologies and ways of working for both Capco and our clients.

He also heads up the R&D team, the Intelligent Automation capability and the Machine Learning capability. Jibran is an accomplished speaker in technology forums and has spoken at prominent industry events such as Money 20/20. He regularly publishes thought leadership through Capco journals and whitepapers as well as providing input to journalists for media such as The Sunday Times and Wired Money.

He also acts in an advisory capacity to C-suite executives across multiple financial services organisations, advising on modern technologies, such as machine learning and distributed ledgers. He is a trusted moderator and we feel that he will be perfect in prepping a discussion guide and facilitating the conversation.
